The MorMor Kitchen team is overseen by the talents of Chefs Stephen Moreton and Joel Moore. Stephen began his culinary career in the Hawaiian Islands attending culinary school on the island of Maui working under local chefs in notable restaurants that highlighted the cuisine of the Pacific Rim and set Stephen off into culinary pursuits that took him to such places as Portland Oregon, Seattle Washington and the Puget Sound. With a classic background and love of quality ingredients, Stephen pulls from his broad background to provide the guests of MorMor with his unique style and understanding of local area products with a diverse and creative repertoire of fantastic dishes.
Joel Moore, a Poulsbo Native, also has a rich background in the kitchen and started his culinary travels in the Olympic College culinary program. Joel has worked his way up through the kitchen ranks to become a confident chef with an amazing understanding of the local regional cuisine of the Puget Sound and a creative palette that transforms the seasonal products of our area into comforting and elegant meals that bring diners back on a daily basis. Joel has also spent his summers in the Alaskan fishing industry and has invaluable knowledge of sustainable seafood practices that he uses to ensure that the guests of MorMor are given the best products at the best times.
